Haw Creek Park

On land about to be extensively developed with incompatible buildings and purchased by the neighborhood and donated to the City, we designed a new community park tied into a nature and community history trail.

Haw Creek Park and its structures, a restroom/picnic shelter and trail gazebo, needed to fit the scale and character of this neighborhood of bungalows while at the same time being constructed within a very limited construction budget.

Well-used today by the neighborhood, this park has become a cherished community resource.
