Shane, shown here in his home office, is an architectural designer and manager with Mathews Architecture. His experience is in the design, production, and management of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. In 2000 he was a founding member of the Western North Carolina Green Building Council and served a term as its Board Chairman. He has also worked with the Dogwood Alliance, an Asheville-based coalition of nonprofits working for environmental conservation. Shane loves metal, be it hot or heavy.
